Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room
Description
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager who uses the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. The ANM supports the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit, provides managerial presence for all shifts, manages clinical and non‑clinical caregivers, and provides input for performance evaluation.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree; obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.

Alaska Registered Nurse License. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Shared Governance experience.
