Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) with expertise in emergency room and medical surgical adult care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a long-term care facility, focusing on emergency room and med surg adult patients.
Responsibilities and Duties- Assessing and monitoring patients, identifying changes in condition, and implementing appropriate interventions
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educating patients and their families on medical conditions and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting patient care
- Adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room and medical surgical adult care
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
