Responsibilities- Assist the nurse and treatment team in providing a safe and supportive environment which promotes patient rehabilitation.
- Participate in nursing shift report for full update on status of patients.
- Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies and assist in the management of behavioral emergencies using nonviolent crisis interventions.
- Available for discussions with individual patients as needed.
- Assist with basic nursing procedures including personal hygiene (bed bath, showers, dressing, measuring intake and output, etc.), vital signs, weights, observation of urine specimen collections, transporting and lifting patients, and care of psychiatric patients.
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation’s largest referral agencies for behavioral health.
- Compensation processed weekly.
