Registered Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant
Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday 10 AM – 8:30 PM (or Sunday – Thursday 7 AM – 5:30 PM). Full‑time, 4/10 schedule.
Compensation: $25–$40 per hour plus $5.50‑hour shift differential.

About the roleAs an ER Vet Tech you will be an essential part of our veterinary team, supporting veterinarians to provide the utmost care and comfort for our clients’ cherished pets.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians during treatments and procedures.
- Monitor critically ill or injured patients closely.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure around‑the‑clock care and treatment coordination.
- Offer compassionate care and support to patients and their owners.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as bloodwork and imaging.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
- Communicate with pet owners regarding patient updates and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide emergency care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- 2+ years of clinical experience in an ER/CCU setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, estimates, and other position‑related calculations.
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60 days of hire or transfer into this role (waived if you hold a valid CA‑RVT license).
