Boiling Springs Animal Hospital has an opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Location:

550 Park Dr, Boiling Springs, PA 17007

Compensation: $20 - $24 dependent on skill set

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8-6

Wednesday - Friday 8-5

Saturday: 8 - 1

Skills:

Proficiency with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, vaccination protocols, anesthetic calculations, anesthetic monitoring, intubation, dental scaling, dental charting and dental x-ray.

Accredited by AAHA since 1991, we are committed to a superior level of medical care, meeting the rigorous AAHA standards that cover all areas of veterinary medicine—a distinction held by only 18% of veterinary hospitals nationwide.

Our comprehensive services include echocardiograms, abdominal ultrasounds, breeding consultations, progesterone testing, transcervical and surgical inseminations, and cesarean sections. We are dedicated to creating an environment that encourages our team's continuous learning and growth.

We are also focusing on refining our workflow efficiency, which promises to minimize waiting room congestion, streamline testing, treatments, and examinations, and ensure a more consistent experience for every client and patient.

Our Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to fully employ their skills learned, engaging in tasks such as phlebotomy, technician appointments, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and various other procedures and therapies.

Full-time team members will be awarded additional PTO based on their years of service.

Holiday Pay 48 hours to apply towards 6 recognized holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day)

* The holiday PTO hours can be used at the team member’s discretion to cover the actual holiday as observed by the hospital or other absences with approval from their Manager.

Uniform Allowance
