Responsibilities- Monitor activities of radiography contractor, review & interpret(if needed) radiographic film and/or ultrasonic testing results.
- Verify that approval of radiographic film and/or ultrasonic testing isin accordance with specifications, codes, & standards.
- Monitor radiation safety checks conducted by contractor.
- Maintain daily log or diary of NDT activities.
- Revew and accept Radiographs and NDE Records of NDE Contrcator and advise QA Coordinator on the status.
- Necessary to maintain quality relative to NDT used in facilities installation.
- Safety relative to use of radiation producing sources.
- Verify that NDT film is retained and stored asproof of acceptance for each weld.
Skills:
- Extensive training and experience in radiography film interpretation and/or ultrasonic interpretation.
- Previous certifications as Level II or Level III inspector.
- Knowledge of standards for equipment, materials and construction methods.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years experience in RT interpretation and radiation safety.
- Overseas pipeline experience is helpful.
- Competent in PC skills relative to Microsoft Word.
