Cook - Aangoon Shu' Senior Center
We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare and present nutritious, appealing meals for Angoon's senior citizens.
Responsibilities- relating to staff, participants and volunteers in a positive manner
- supervising and training kitchen staff
- ordering food and supplies
- preparing meals according to senior nutrition program guidelines
- maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen according to Alaska food service regulations
- Background check required
- Prior industrial kitchen experience preferred but we will train
- Must obtain State Food Worker's Card within 10 days of hire
- Must become CPR/First Aid certified within 30 days of hire
This position is part-time, 15 hours per week (5 hours/day Monday through Wednesday), starting wage $20/hour DOE.
