This position will be used to fill vacancies for various FMWR facilities on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. These facilities include City Center, Birch Hill Ski and Snowboard Area, Chena Bend Golf Course, Warrior Zone and more!

• Incentives will not be paid.

• Operates a small full-service bar, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with operating procedures.
• Stocks bar. Keeps bar, utensils, equipment and work area clean and sanitary.
• Receives and checks quantity and description of stock.
• Uses tact and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated.

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a medical examination.
• Complete a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
• Must be able to work all shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Stands for prolonged periods of time.
• Work is primarily indoors.
• Exposed to cuts and bruises.
