What You’ll Do

• Greet every guest with warmth, confidence, and presence
• Open doors, make eye contact, and acknowledge guests immediately
• Manage the waitlist with accuracy, honesty, and professionalism
• Seat guests strategically to balance the flow of service
• Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen to maintain rhythm
• Provide menus and set clear expectations for the experience
• Stay aware of the dining room, adjusting seating and pacing in real time
• Handle phone calls, reservations, and guest inquiries professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway
• Check restrooms and guest-facing areas to ensure they reflect our standards
• Thank every guest sincerely as they leave and invite them back

Responsibilities (Core Execution)

• Welcome and seat guests efficiently and thoughtfully
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table rotation
• Communicate wait times clearly and accurately
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness of entryway, lobby, and restrooms
• Answer phones and assist with guest questions or to-go orders
• Support servers, bussers, and managers as needed
• Assist in maintaining overall restaurant readiness and flow
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to improvement
