Barista\Cafe Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista / Café Worker to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, handling food items, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment.

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, espresso, lattes, teas, and smoothies.
• Take customer orders and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
• Handle food preparation and presentation, including pastries, sandwiches, and snacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cashing out.

• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and cleanliness.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
• Customer service training or experience.

This can be a part time or full time position based on candidate. Nights and weekends are the prime operating hours.
