Reports to: Shift Leader or General Manager
Pay: $12.00/hour

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Line Servers to join our team at Halal Guys. As a Line Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to customers while maintaining Halal Guys’ high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Service

• Serve customers quickly and accurately by assembling menu items according to Halal Guys’ recipes and standards.
• Maintain portion control to ensure consistency and minimize food waste.
• Ensure food items are fresh, properly stocked, and presented attractively.

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly interactions.
• Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations.
• Address customer requests or issues promptly and professionally.

Cleanliness and Sanitation

• Keep the line station clean, organized, and fully stocked during the shift.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing gloves and maintaining a sanitized workspace.
• Assist in cleaning dining areas, workstations, and restocking supplies as needed.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Support back-of-house and front-of-house operations during peak times or as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure all customer needs are met.

Qualifications

• Experience
  :
  Prior experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Skills
  :
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Requirements
  :
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
