- Responsibilities:
Assist customers by answering questions about item prices or locations and handling bulky/heavy items;
Count change funds and set up cash drawers, verify accuracy of each drawer;
Turn on the master cash control processor and set up office terminals for the day;
Issue change to cashiers and operate cash register as needed;
Periodically check cash register drawers to prevent fund accumulation;
Bag and seal cash and checks, prepare change lists for secure pickup and deposit;
Verify cashier records against total change funds and sales records
