Senior Sales Manager – Battery Industry | Dealer & Distributor Channels

Step into a high-impact role as a Senior Sales Manager where you'll drive revenue growth across a national dealer and distributor network. This position is ideal for a commercially driven sales leader with battery industry experience and a proven track record managing distributor relationships in competitive, price-driven markets. You'll own the performance of an entire product portfolio, influence channel strategy, and make critical commercial decisions that maximize long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Own sales performance across a full-line battery product portfolio, driving revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Develop and execute dealer and distributor channel strategies to accelerate growth in competitive, price-sensitive markets.
• Lead pricing strategy and negotiations, maintaining pricing discipline while balancing customer relationships and business objectives.
• Partner closely with distributors to drive dealer-level demand and improve sell-through across the channel.
• Evaluate channel performance, identify growth opportunities, and make strategic decisions on where to invest resources and when to pursue new customer development.
• Navigate distributor and dealer dynamics, including inventory management, competitive pressures, and margin optimization.
• Stay closely connected to customers and the field, maintaining a hands-on approach to account management and business development.
• Leverage market insights and customer feedback to shape commercial strategies and support long-term portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Required: 7+ years of sales experience within the battery industry
  , with a strong understanding of battery products, markets, and distribution channels.
• Proven success managing dealer and distributor channels in competitive, price-driven environments.
• Demonstrated success owning full-line portfolio performance rather than individual product sales.
• Strong experience driving sell-through by influencing distributor and dealer partners.
• Proven ability to establish pricing strategies, negotiate effectively, and maintain commercial discipline under competitive pressure.
• Commercially minded with the ability to assess channel effectiveness, shift strategy when needed, and identify new growth opportunities.
• Hands-on sales leader who enjoys working closely with customers and distributor partners rather than operating solely at a strategic level.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills.
• Experience working within a matrixed organization is preferred.

Travel: Approximately 40% throughout the United States.
