** Job Description*
* The Hydro Blaster is to safely operate extremely high-pressured water-blast units to clean customer systems (pipes, boilers, tanks, etc.) and operate industrial vacuum unitspersonally or through subordinate staff.

** Responsibilities*
* + Comply with all company and regulatory safety policies.

+ Apply working knowledge of water jetting theories and safety.

+ Operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment.

+ Safely prepares equipment and worksite daily.

+ Assemble and disassemble hose connections.

+ Physically control industrial hydro blasting and vacuum equipment.

+ Ensures that assigned tasks are performed safely with the highest level of quality.

+ Communicate with Front Line Supervisors on areas such as safety, quality and integrity.

+ Execute mechanical piping skills including flange breaks and bolt-ups.

+ Conduct basic rigging and lifting techniques.

+ Ensure that work results conform to client specifications and schedules.

+ Immediately report all Incidents/Accidents, no matter how small, to their Supervisor.

+ This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

+ Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.

** Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years relevant Hydro Blasting experience.

+ Minimum five (5) years Hydro Blasting experience.

+

Experience with shotgun and badger tools.

+ Experience operating 15,000 PSI equipment.

+ Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of radiation and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually deafening.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand;

walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. It's important to note that steel-toed boots are required on the job for safety reasons.

Travel may require an employee or contractor to pass a TSA security checkpoint. If the employee or contractor does not have valid identification, they will not be able to travel until valid identification is obtained and verified.
