Description
Our Billboard Construction Crew Members construct and maintain billboard inventory in York, Pennsylvania. The position involves maintaining, erecting, and dismantling billboard structures and performing vegetation and structural maintenance.
Responsibilities- Maintain billboards and perform vegetation and structure maintenance.
- Erect and dismantle billboard structures.
- Responsible for structure and vegetation maintenance, including painting, repairing walkways and trim, trimming trees, and cutting grass.
- Prepare pre‑ and post‑trip documentation, fold and load billboard vinyl, and document vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure shop and materials yard are clean and organized, and store old billboard vinyl for recycling.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs and fuses.
- Attend construction and installation safety meetings as required and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Document completion photos as proof of performance.
- Monday — Friday, 6:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. work schedule.
- Hourly rate $19.50 — $20.50, dependent on experience and qualifications.

- Ability to safely use construction and vegetation equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical procedures and techniques.
- Ability to document installations via photographs and written logs.
- Willingly learn to safely use welding & torching equipment.
- Willingness and ability to use a smartphone for job tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Complete OSHA 10‑hour Construction course.
- Preferred certifications: CDL/Non‑CDL, Crane, Signal, or Rigging.
- Previous experience working at heights up to 200 ft. preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
The primary work environment is outdoors, requiring work in adverse weather conditions and climbing at heights up to 200 ft. Physical demands include moderate to heavy lifting, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, and climbing (up to 200 feet). Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%. On‑call shifts may be required.
