As a Mobile Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and safety of vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping to drain and change lubricants in various components such as crank cases, differentials, and transmissions.
• Lubricating vehicles and replacing oil and air filters.
• Checking fluid levels in braking systems and power steering reservoirs.
• Replacing accessories like rear view mirrors and performing tire services, including rotation, replacement, and repairs using techniques such as plugging and patching.
• Changing brake pads and rotors, and inspecting components including spark plugs, wires, fan belts, exhaust systems, and hoses.
• Making necessary adjustments or replacements of vehicle parts.
• Referring major repairs to certified automotive mechanics for further assessment.
• Utilizing various testing equipment such as battery testers and hydrometers.
• Employing a wide range of hand tools to complete tasks effectively.
• Maintaining accurate records and inventory of supplies (e.g., oil and lubricants).
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support the team.
