Rental Technician - N C Power Systems

Job Overview

NC Power System is hiring a Rental Technician – Power Systems in Prudhoe Bay, AK, to maintain and repair CAT generators, air compressors, and ancillary equipment both in‑house and at customer locations.

Hourly Range: $ per hour (based on skills & experience).

• Diagnose and repair rental fleet equipment (CAT generators, air compressors, and ancillary devices) in‑house and at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, mainly generators and compressors.
• Communicate effectively with technicians and customers; possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Complete necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform data entry and operate required computer systems and software.

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience troubleshooting and/or servicing diesel equipment (preferred).
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products or comparable systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive, self‑starter attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
• Provide your own basic tools.
