Cruz Construction, Inc. is seeking Welders for their Prudhoe Bay Shop in Deadhorse, Alaska. Welders will be responsible for welding, repairing, and maintaining equipment and machinery used on construction projects. This is a rotational, full-time position with exposure to challenging arctic conditions. The ideal candidate will have significant welding experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

• Wage: $32–$40 per hour, depending on experience

• Five years of job related experience
• Familiarity with different types and styles of welding and materials
• Experience in fabrication of metal and maintenance/repair of construction equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings
• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor and lift up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work in inclement weather and arctic conditions
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear protective clothing

• Two years vocational training in construction maintenance or equivalent work experience
• Welding certifications
• Heavy equipment maintenance experience
• GMAW and GTAW experience in aluminum and steel
