Location: Point Lay

American Equipment HR LLC (AmQuip) seeks an Experienced Crane Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile and crawler cranes for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. In this safety-focused, team-oriented role, you'll perform field and shop service, conduct preventive maintenance, support lift readiness, and document all work to high standards. You'll collaborate with operators and project teams, follow strict safety and OSHA guidelines, and grow your technical skills through hands-on training and complex lifting assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mobile and crawler cranes in field and shop settings
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Conduct crane safety checks, load tests, and inspections to meet regulatory and company standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and document all service work accurately
  • Collaborate with operators, dispatch, and project teams to support lift readiness and scheduling
  • Follow OSHA, company, and site-specific safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain tools, service vehicles, and parts inventory in clean, safe condition
  • Participate in ongoing technical and safety training and support junior technicians as needed
