Equipment Inspection Mechanic​/Technician​/Hydraulics

Job Description

Push-N-Pull’s inspection mechanics and shop technicians provide their services in all aspects of the shop. Team members must have the ability to successfully install, troubleshoot, and repair truck equipment. Additionally, a good candidate will also be able to retain knowledge and accurately educate others.

Minimum requirements the candidate will have:

3 - 5 Years relevant experience including trailers, trucks, general truck equipment, and general mechanics

Experience in industry relevant electrical knowledge

High school Education or G.E.D. equivalent

Safe, professional, and career minded attitude

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Individual troubleshooting ability

Current state driver’s license and reliable transportation

Current PA state inspection license

Ability to work with minimal supervision and well with others

A toolbox with a basic set of hand tools, electric drive tools, etc.

Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Experience in installation and service on PTO systems, Parker, Chelsea, or equiv.

Experience in installation and service of Clutch Pump systems, Deweze, C.W. Mill, or equiv.

Ability to correctly design, build, route, and fabricate hosing for hydraulic appliances.

Substantial time spent installing and or servicing 12 volt systems

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

Welding experience

Installation of: snowplows, salt spreaders, and dump bodies

Responsibility and duties:

Perform state inspection for trailers GVWR 3,001 lbs – 26,000 lbs

Ability to “think outside the box”, constantly exceed expectations, and own every action

Accurately record time and parts for each job order

Continuing education on product lines and industry innovations

Hours:

M-F - No work on weekends or Holidays
