Job Description
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and diagnostic tasks to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Working as an individual contributor within a small team, you will report to the Service or Workshop Manager and focus on both routine maintenance and detailed diagnostics to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair needs
- Perform engine repair and brake maintenance
- Carry out diagnostic testing to pinpoint issues
- Replace fluids according to maintenance schedules
- Handle electrical repairs and hydraulic system maintenance
- Maintain and organize tools effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- ASE Certification
- Pennsylvania Emissions and Safety License
- Proficient in engine repair, brake systems, and diagnostic tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Commitment to customer service excellence
