ScheduleThis is a seasonal position running from as early as April through late October or early November, weather dependent. Employees can expect to work between 10 and 25 hours per week depending on availability and the time of season. Scheduling is flexible around academic commitments, though weekend availability is preferred. School‑year availability is strongly preferred, as we value consistency throughout both the summer and fall seasons.
Schedules are built around tee‑sheet demand and club events, so reliability and dependable attendance are essential.

Position Summary /Job Duties
Nakoma Golf Club is seeking three motivated and dependable students to join our Outside Operations (Bag Room) team for the 2026 season.
Outside Operations staff play a critical role in delivering an exceptional member experience. This position is responsible for cart staging and cleaning, practice range setup, bag handling, maintaining the bag storage area, and assisting members with their needs before and after play.
This is an active, outdoor position that requires strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
Primary Responsibilities Include- Staging, cleaning, and maintaining golf carts
- Setting up and maintaining the practice range
- Handling member golf bags and organizing bag storage
- Maintaining wash pad and cart barn cleanliness
- Restocking water stations, sand bottles, tees, and supplies
- Providing friendly and professional service to members and guests

We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor. Candidates should be dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset are important, as Outside Operations staff interact directly with members and guests. The ability to manage time effectively during both busy and slower periods is essential.
An interest in hospitality, sports management, or golf is a plus, but not required.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (golf bags), stand and walk for extended periods, and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions throughout the season.
