Location: Nuiqsut
Position
Conoco Phillips Global Aviation Services is recruiting for a dual qualified DHC-6/CASA 212 pilot based on the North Slope of Alaska.
Location: Alpine facility, North Slope, Alaska.
Rotation: 1‑week on/1‑week off schedule.
- Promote and cultivate a culture that advances Conoco Phillips Alaska Incident‑Free Safety Culture (IFC) and aviation Safety Management System (SMS).
- Comply with Conoco Phillips safety programs, policies, procedures, and PPE usage.
- Identify and report safety issues to the company safety database.
- Comply with FAA regulations, public law, and other applicable requirements.
- Operate Company aircraft safely, reliably, and efficiently.
- Represent the company ethically when dealing with business associates, officials, and customers.
- Communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Perform duties of Pilot‑in‑Command or Second‑in‑Command, including:
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑flight aircraft inspections.
- Calculate fuel loads and coordinate fueling.
- Plan flights (weather, NOTAMS, routing, airfield conditions, TFRs, flight risk assessment, passenger/cargo loads).
- Ensure safe compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Complete weight‑and‑balance computations.
- Maintain daily flight records.
- Maintain communications with Aviation Operations Support throughout duty.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support aviation operations.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot License with airplane multi‑engine land rating.
- Current/Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid Passport with no restrictions to international travel.
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours multi‑engine airplane flight time.
- Minimum 500 hours multi‑engine airplane Pilot‑in‑Command time.
- Minimum 75/50 hours total/actual instrument time.
- Minimum 100 night takeoffs and landings.
- Capable of lifting up to 50‑pound loads and accessing all approved areas of the DHC‑6 and CASA‑212 aircraft.
- Willing to work on a 1‑week on/1‑week off schedule at a remote work location.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Aviation, Aeronautics, or related field.
- Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI).
- CASA C‑212 type rating/experience.
- 3+ years of operational experience in an arctic environment.
- 3+ years of experience in a multi‑crew environment.
- 3+ years of experience in company training or standards role.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams).
- Builds effective solutions; makes safe, ethical decisions.
- Listens actively; encourages new ideas; influences performance.
- Builds positive relationships; seeks collaboration.
