Job Summary

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests, employees, and clients while ensuring a positive and professional experience. This role requires excellent communication, a strong safety mindset, and a commitment to providing dependable service. The Shuttle Driver supports daily transportation operations, maintains vehicle cleanliness and safety, and represents Northern Hospitality Group with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles including vans, SUVs, or buses as assigned.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles inside and out.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, and fuel usage records.
  • Refuel vehicles as needed and follow fueling safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to coordinate schedules and routes.
  • Assist passengers with luggage and provide courteous, helpful service.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to passenger concerns or unexpected situations.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Uphold all company safety and operational policies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required for non-commercial positions).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred, ideally with large vehicles.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be organized, punctual, and dependable.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with luggage as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
