Compensation and Hours

Summary

Deliver products to customers via fuel truck as assigned by the Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager or Plant Foreman.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles and pick‑up and deliver products as scheduled; complete delivery/meter tickets as required.
  • Calculate taxes on fuel and prepare necessary logs and reports.
  • Assist in keeping the vehicle in good working condition and perform routine maintenance.
  • Provide sales and service assistance to customers.
  • Load and unload products as needed.
  • Keep truck and pumps clean and orderly.
  • Perform other general driving, warehouse and dock duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Must carry a current commercial driver’s license (CDL) with required endorsements and have a good driving record.
  • Must have a Transportation Worker Identification Card and pass a TSA background check.
  • Must carry a hazmat endorsement on CDL and a current TWIC.
  • Must be willing to work some overtime during busy seasons and be available for call‑outs.
  • Must be professional and courteous with customers at all times.
  • Must be able to work well with others and perform a variety of duties.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting a minimum of 50–75 pounds routinely; carrying fuel hoses across uneven terrain.
  • Push/pull up to 350 pounds (with assistance of pallet jack).
  • Operate hand truck with heavy inventory; forklift operation required.
  • Must sit or stand for long periods and participate in highly active physical duties.
  • Must operate company vehicles and use computer, telephone and general office equipment.
  • Must walk on varying surfaces, including hazardous and slippery conditions.
  • Must reach above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lift as required to move product.
Work Environment

The performance of this position requires exposure to industrial areas and a marine location, requiring use of personal protective equipment such as appropriate footwear, safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Industrial areas include hazardous chemicals, fumes and petroleum by‑products.
