Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
  • Use multiple computer programs to manage data and treatment plan tasks related to patient information.
  • Determine dental benefit eligibility and payment estimates necessary to facilitate financial arrangements, when applicable.
  • Handle all treatment paperwork including consent forms, insurance forms and exit paperwork.
  • Communicate clearly and openly with patients about their treatment options and related costs and be prepared to handle objections to proposed treatment.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient‑centric working environment.
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
Qualifications
  • One (1) or more years of practical experience, including medical or dental front‑desk experience and medical or dental insurance verification experience.
  • Detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced office environment.
  • Commitment to being punctual and reporting to work on time.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
  • Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
