Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant W2 Per Diem

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy visits across Alameda County
. This is a W-2 per diem role ideal for PTAs looking for schedule flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships. You'll treat patients in their homes, collaborate closely with a supervising Physical Therapist, and be supported by a local clinical team. Apollo is part of Obran Cooperative

• Provide in-home physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
• Complete visit documentation in a timely manner
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Active California PTA license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally around Alameda County
• Home health experience
• Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)

• $70-85/visit + $30/hour for training
• Mileage reimbursement

• $300 signing bonus for per diem PTA, paid as:
  • $100 after completion of your first patient visit
  • $200 after 90 days of active employment, contingent on meeting role expectations and performance standards
