Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Clerical
Position is located in a DeCA Commissary store and incumbent serves as a liaison between the store and the HQ Accounts Control Section (ACS). The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of store-level work associated with accounts and price maintenance. Incumbent may also be assigned supply clerical duties.
ResponsibilitiesPerform various store‑level tasks related to accounts and price maintenance, as well as supply clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications- One (1) year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that demonstrates the ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position (general experience).
- Two (2) full years of successfully completed education above high school at an accredited business, secretarial, technical school, junior college, college, or university. Transcripts are required if relying on education, in whole or in part, to qualify.
- Combination of experience and education:
To calculate the combination, divide your total months of experience by 12, then divide your semester hours by 60 and add the two percentages. If the total is 100%, you meet the minimum qualifications through a combination of experience and education.
All relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social), will be credited.
Physical Requirements- The work is primarily sedentary and performed in an office setting.
- There is occasional walking, stooping, bending, and carrying and lifting of items without assistance (e.g., boxes of copier paper) weighing up to 25 pounds and stocking of light items.

Most of the work is performed in an office setting with normal heating and cooling systems. Incumbent may walk in the commissary areas as necessary to obtain and/or share information and to conduct inventories and stocking duties.
