Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and operational support to the Athletics Department by assisting with office operations, customer service, document management, and administrative tasks. This position helps ensure the efficient daily operation of the department while maintaining a professional environment for student‑athletes, staff, and visitors.
Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities- Greet and assist visitors, student‑athletes, and departmental staff in a professional manner.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Assist with filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and maintaining department records.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute departmental documents, correspondence, and materials.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and supporting special projects.
- Maintain an organized office environment and assist with the inventory of office supplies.
- Provide administrative support for departmental events, meetings, and game‑day operations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletics administration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for special events.
