- QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate Degree or higher preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of clerical, administrative support, customer service, or office management experience required.
Preferred Qualifications Include- Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes.
- Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, crisis services, or social service settings.
Knowledge of agency-specific office procedures and methods. Computer proficiency and ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications, agency software, electronic databases, and electronic health records. Ability to maintain routine clerical records and establish, maintain, and update organized filing, mailing, inventory, and record-keeping systems.
Ability To- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Understand and interpret written materials.
- Multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accuracy while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Exercise sound judgment and professionalism when interacting with clients, staff, and community partners.
- Perform basic bookkeeping.
- Prepare reports and correspondence.
- Operate office equipment and maintain office supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

ASSIGNED DUTIESPerforms a variety of clerical, administrative, and operational support functions for the Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC) and assigned programs. Performs routine and specialized clerical functions while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy.
Duties Include- Provides general clerical support including data entry, filing, scanning, copying, distribution of documents, and maintenance of records.
