Program Analyst

Must have ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

The Program Analyst will focus on supporting production planning and supply chain management functions to optimize operational efficiency, improve material flow, and support decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have experience in inventory control, production processes, and supply chain logistics.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Analyst: $DOE

Pay commensurate with experience.

Program Analyst Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the coordination of production activities across various departments and teams.
  • Analyze and track supply chain performance metrics to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of materials and inventory optimization.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to address supply chain challenges.
  • Track inventory levels, forecast demand, and develop strategies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Analyze excess and obsolete inventory and provide recommendations for disposition.
  • Support annual and wall-to-wall inventory efforts to improve accuracy and accountability.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into leadership on production and supply chain activities.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and databases to conduct data analysis and generate reports.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to streamline production and supply chain processes.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean or Six Sigma projects.
  • Act as a liaison between production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment of goals.
  • Assist with program reviews and provide input on material availability, production constraints, and capacity planning.
Program Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Production Planning, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or program analysis roles.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel.
  • Familiarity with inventory control methods and production scheduling best practices.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or military logistics environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of government contracting and compliance requirements preferred.
