This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.
Job DescriptionThis position will work with the Construction Manager to assist with managing rehabilitation construction projects. This position will be located at the
F. Wayne Hill Water Resource Center in Buford.
- Update project status in various reporting programs, including Jira and Microsoft Planner.
- Assist in project initiation, monitoring, and closeout activities.
- Assist in the review and implementation of various construction projects and contracted services.
- Inspect construction sites for adherence to safety standards and other project management issues.
- Assist in reviewing and monitoring construction project schedules.
- Attend meetings with contractors, consultants, and other project representatives to review progress status, resolve problems, review plans, and coordinate administrative activities.
$20.36 per hour.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver's license.
- One year of project management experience or relevant education.
- Must be available to work up to 29 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software.
- Basic math skills.
