This is a part-time, on-site Virtual Banking Representative role located in the Greater Albany, Georgia Area. The Virtual Banking Representative will support members through digital and phone channels, assisting with account inquiries, transactions, and online banking navigation. Daily responsibilities include responding to member questions, processing payments and transfers, resolving basic service issues, and guiding members through credit union products and services.
The role also involves verifying member information, documenting interactions accurately, and escalating complex concerns to appropriate team members. Representatives are expected to maintain professional, courteous communication and uphold Bridgeway’s standards for service, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Strong customer service and member support skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across phone and digital channels.
- Basic banking or financial services knowledge, including familiarity with deposit accounts, loans, and online banking tools.
- Comfort with computer systems and digital platforms, including data entry, secure information handling, and learning new software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions, verifying member information, and maintaining records.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Albany, Georgia Area, manage part-time schedules, and collaborate with branch and virtual support teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset, with a commitment to member satisfaction and credit union values.
- Prior experience in retail banking, call center, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in business, finance, or communications is a plus.
