Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job SummaryThe Part-Time Clinical Faculty member provides clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in assigned healthcare settings. This role supports student learning by facilitating clinical experiences, evaluating performance, and modeling professional nursing practice consistent with program outcomes and regulatory standards.
Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities- Supervise and instruct nursing students in clinical settings and/or simulation or skills labs.
- Facilitate clinical learning experiences that promote safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Evaluate and document student clinical performance in accordance with course and program policies.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student development.
- Communicate effectively with institutional policies and clinical site requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years in a hospital setting.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the area of nursing specialty.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Current GA Nursing license in good standing.
- Master's degree or higher in nursing or a related field.
- Prior clinical teaching, precepting, or mentoring experience.
Salary is a per hour rate.

- Knowledge of current nursing clinical practices, patient safety standards, and evidence-based care within hospital and healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of nursing education principles, clinical evaluation methods, and regulatory requirements governing nursing programs and clinical instruction.
- Skill in supervising, instructing, and evaluating nursing students in clinical, simulation, or skills lab environments.
- Skill in providing clear, timely, and constructive feedback to support student learning and professional development.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, faculty, and clinical site personnel while adhering to institutional and clinical policies.
- Ability to model professional nursing behaviors and adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student learning needs in fast-paced clinical settings.
