Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. LocationOur West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job SummaryAlbany State University has openings for a Part‑time Bus Operator in the Department of Transportation. This part‑time position may work up to 19 hours per week, but is not guaranteed weekly hours.
ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will assume the responsibility of operating buses and vans of various sizes; washing and cleaning buses and vans as required; providing athletics and extracurricular trips as necessary and performing related duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsMinimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of driving experience as a licensed driver. Must possess a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) prior to employment. Must be physically able to drive and maintain the vehicle.
Proposed SalaryThe salary is $17 per hour for 19 hours or less. The 19 hours are not guaranteed every week.
