As a Contract Instructional Coach serving Georgia's middle and high schools, you will support teachers in elevating secondary literacy instruction through strong content knowledge and evidence‑based practices.

• Collaborating with grades 6-12 ELA teachers to strengthen instruction
• Supporting curriculum implementation aligned to state standards
• Conducting classroom observations and providing actionable feedback
• Modeling lessons and co‑teaching to support instructional growth
• Leading professional development sessions on writing instruction, text complexity, close reading, academic vocabulary, and more
• Analyzing student performance data to guide literacy interventions
• Helping teachers design rigorous assessments and instructional materials
• Building teacher capacity through ongoing coaching cycles

• Deep expertise in Secondary ELA (grades 6-12)
• Strong knowledge of reading, writing, and language standards
• Experience coaching teachers or leading ELA departments
• Data analysis skills to inform instruction
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
• Strength in classroom management and instructional modeling
• Organizational discipline and professionalism
• A problem‑solving, customer‑focused mindset
