Job SummaryWe are seeking qualified part‑time faculty to teach in our synchronous, online Master of Social Work (MSW) program. Teaching assignments may include courses in direct clinical practice, social work theory, and research, based on the candidate
¿ s academic preparation and professional experience.
Part‑time faculty are expected to contribute to the educational, professional, and ethical development of graduate social work students, participate in curriculum enhancement, and engage in professional advising and mentoring as appropriate.
ResponsibilitiesTeach assigned graduate‑level social work courses in a synchronous online MSW program.
Utilize the learning management system (LMS) to organize classes, facilitate synchronous instruction, assess student learning, maintain accurate grades, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Foster students
¿ academic, professional, and ethical development through advising, mentoring, and timely communication.Deliver instruction that aligns with CSWE Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS 2022), including competency‑based education and assessment.
Maintain regular communication with students and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain current knowledge of evidence‑based social work practice and emerging trends in the profession.
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE‑accredited program.
- Minimum of five years of post‑graduate clinical social work practice experience.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in higher education.
- Ph.D. or DSW in Social Work.
- Knowledge of CSWE accreditation standards, including competency‑based. education and assessment.
- Online teaching experience.
