We are seeking an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer to support automation systems within a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for DeltaV and plant automation systems while driving system reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day support for DeltaV and plant automation systems.
- Troubleshoot process controls, instrumentation, control loops, pumps, utilities, and automation issues.
- Support automation upgrades, system enhancements, and capital projects.
- Participate in change controls, deviations, CAPAs, root cause investigations, and risk assessments.
- Review P&IDs, loop drawings, control narratives, and automation documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve system performance and compliance.
- Ensure automation systems meet GMP and site quality requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of automation engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences manufacturing.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Emerson Delta
V. - Experience with Rockwell PLCs (Allen‑Bradley) and OSI PI Historian.
- Knowledge of process controls, industrial instrumentation, utilities, and GMP manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with change control, CAPA, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.
- Experience with Siemens PCS 7 is a plus.
