Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a detail oriented professional to join our team in Albany, GA, supporting the maintenance, repair, integration, and sustainment of complex electronic and electromechanical systems. The position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, the ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics, and experience working with electronic, electrical, mechanical, and computer based systems. The selected candidate will work in a hands on maintenance and production environment supporting integrated systems and equipment used in support of Marine Corps operations.
This position is located in Albany, GA. Your future duties and responsibilities:
Rebuild, overhaul, install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, calibrate, align, and maintain integrated electronic systems where multiple sensor subsystems are integrated into a logic subsystem to modify total system operation Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 4 hours at a time. Maintain and repair electronic digital computer systems and their components/peripherals used for scientific, engineering, or administrative computation and recordkeeping.
Repair and maintain computer subsystems/components of integrated aircraft and weapons control systems, focusing on the operating principles and mechanics of computers and auxiliary components. Apply knowledge of electronics principles across applications such as radar, data processing, and display, as well as mechanical and hydraulic systems (control valves, gyros, turrets, mounts, mechanical computing devices). Use a variety of electronic test equipment and demonstrate understanding of computer logic.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards as required by DoD contracts. Maintain active Secret clearance and meet all credentialing requirements for access to sensitive systems. Provide documentation and reporting of maintenance actions, calibrations, and system modifications as required by contract deliverables Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Technical education, training, or demonstrated experience in electronics, electrical systems, industrial technology, engineering technology, maintenance, or a related technical field. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, modifying, and maintaining electronic, electrical, mechanical, or integrated systems and equipment. Working knowledge of electronic and electrical principles and their application to troubleshooting and maintenance activities. Experience using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to isolate faults and determine corrective actions.
Ability to interpret and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, specifications, work orders, maintenance procedures, and other technical documentation. Knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems, including components such as motors, mounts, valves, hydraulic components, and related assemblies.
Experience with computer systems, digital components, peripherals, and electronic interfaces associated with integrated equipment. Ability to perform equipment installation, alignment, calibration, testing, repair, modification, and preventive maintenance. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, rebuild, and production processes within an industrial or military maintenance environment. Ability to document maintenance actions, inspections, calibrations, repairs, and system modifications in accordance with established procedures and contract requirements.
Ability to coordinate technical tasks and communicate effectively with technicians, engineers, production personnel, customers, and other stakeholders. Ability to identify equipment problems, determine appropriate corrective actions, and recommend improvements to maintenance or repair processes. Knowledge of applicable safety, security, quality, and operational requirements associated with maintenance of military or industrial equipment. Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Micr Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
Working knowledge of Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) and/or Global Combat Support System Marine Corps (GCSS MC) Relevant military or civilian/contractor experience in a logistics field, supply, maintenance, maintenance management, mobility or distribution management CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
