MRI TECHNOLOGIST (ARRT)

Location: Salisbury, MD
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | Night Shift

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and diagnostic accuracy. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during night shift operations.

• Night Shift
• Differential: $2.50/hour for MRI Tech night shift
• Weekend and holiday rotation per departmental policy
• Occasional overtime as needed

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols
• Ensure patient safety, screening, and positioning for MRI procedures
• Operate MRI equipment efficiently while maintaining image quality
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental policies
• Utilize strong organizational and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment
• Provide excellent customer service and patient-centered care

EDUCATION

• Vocational / Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology (Required)

EXPERIENCE

• 1–2 years of MRI experience (Preferred)

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE

• Radiologic Technologist (RT)
• Certified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) – ARRT
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Interpersonal and customer service skills
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
• Ability to follow verbal instructions
• Basic computer and general clerical skills
• Proper grammar and spelling proficiency

• Good manual dexterity required
