Logistics Analyst – 18540

Description

This position is being recruited in support of a proposal and is contingent upon contract award.

The Logistics Analyst / Supply Systems Analyst requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships to conduct studies, reviews and investigations.

What you will be responsible for
  • Analyzes transactions/data to determine problem areas
  • Determines the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions
  • Provide the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations
  • Coordinate with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems
  • Research potential functional problem areas
  • Perform as the Warehouse Management System (WMS) POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communications and responding to information pertaining to WMS
  • Identify workload trends and proactively identify potential issues

Minimum of three years of experience within the last five years using Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent software systems.

Proficiency in MS Office, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Management Systems.

Knowledge of military supply chain processes and inventory practices.

This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).

Eligibility for a government CAC and Secret Security Clearance (if required)

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Distribution Management, Business Management, or Business Administration from a four‑year institution

Proficient in teamwork, communication, presentation, and negotiation

Skilled in planning, managing, and completing projects

Strong interpersonal skills and relationship‑building abilities

Knowledgeable about aerospace and defense supply chains
