Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist

Duties

You will lead and supervise personnel responsible for the implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of Marine Corps logistics management systems and related logistics operations.

You will serve as the principal subject matter expert and advisor on legacy and emerging logistics management systems, providing technical guidance and recommendations to leadership on logistics modernization initiatives.

You will develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs that prepare users to effectively operate current and future logistics management systems while ensuring compliance with organizational training requirements.

You will lead and coordinate logistics systems modernization efforts, supporting the planning, implementation, testing, and transition of enterprise logistics capabilities across multiple functional areas.

You will analyze logistics operations and system performance, identify operational issues and risks, and recommend process and system improvements that enhance supply, maintenance, distribution, and asset accountability.

You will collaborate with Headquarters Marine Corps, major commands, other military services, and Federal agencies to resolve complex logistics systems issues and support enterprise logistics objectives.

You will oversee logistics modernization initiatives, monitor milestones and user readiness, and provide executive-level briefings and decision support on logistics systems implementation and sustainment.
