Job Description

Segment Schedule Manager for the SR400 Express Lanes Project, a $4.6B infrastructure initiative in Georgia commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA). The role involves developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules across multiple work segments to ensure alignment with overall project timelines. The project will begin in late 2025 with anticipated completion in 2031, featuring a peak workforce of over 500 and key features such as bus rapid transit stations and bridge refurbishments.

• Lead the development and maintenance of the segment’s integrated project schedule across all phases (design, procurement, permitting, and construction).
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to define activity sequencing, critical paths, and key interfaces.
• Analyze schedule performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.
• Collaborate on resource planning and allocation (labor, equipment, materials) to support timely execution.
• Monitor progress and generate detailed reporting (narratives, look-aheads, KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure schedule compliance with contractual requirements, project goals, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 5 years in large‑scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with self‑perform work scheduling is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
