Position: Senior Project Manager (Mission Critical)

Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical Team

Aldridge is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic and energetic Mission Critical team for a project in Atlanta, GA. This role will work collaboratively with the project team to ensure that a quality project is produced safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team.
  • Foster customer relationships.
  • Facilitate project planning, delivery and execution.
  • Drive projects through the entire Aldridge Project Lifecycle.
  • Drive the IIF safety culture and ensure a safety plan is developed and adhered to.
  • Regularly visit job sites and lead by example.
  • Mentoring and coaching: direct activities of Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers, train them, hold them accountable, be a resource for new recruits, influence support staff, develop a successor and succession plan.
  • Customer focus: build a strong partnership with the General Contractor and owner(s), own a customer account, foster a close working relationship with field leadership and engage them in Agile and other processes.
  • Project planning: identify and document roles and responsibilities of the management team, ensure a plan to meet all contractual requirements, monitor pre‑job planning tasks, share experience and lessons learned, develop and execute a strong financial plan (accurate project financials, status presentation, positive cash flow, cash collections).
  • Project execution: deliver project‑level solutions and deliver the contract, ensure company processes and tools are utilized, monitor Agile reporting and enact change, keep billings up to date, maintain accurate monthly status reports, sign off or create change order requests, elevate critical job issues to Division Manager or Vice President.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management or other construction‑related major; equivalent construction or Union trade background considered.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural plans as they relate to schedules, cost and performance.
  • Proficient in estimating, scheduling, budgeting costs, field supervision, financial reporting and client relationships.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Primavera Project, Contract Management and Bluebeam.
  • Experience leading a team and mentoring subordinates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship skills at all levels.
  • Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time for yourself and others.
  • Willingness to travel.

  • Annual base pay between $130,000 – $190,000 (dependent on location, experience, education, etc.). Bonus may be available.
