Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Supports land use, environmental permitting, and entitlement strategy for solar PV, BESS, and electrical infrastructure projects across the US. Reports to the Permitting team.
Key Responsibilities:Screen/site prospective solar projects; support environmental due diligence on M&A deals
Manage consultants and coordinate agency submittals for regulatory and siting approvals
Track permitting milestones, budgets, and schedules
Prepare agency applications; represent the company at hearings and community workshops
Negotiate permit conditions with regulatory/wildlife agencies
Coordinate with origination, finance, construction, and asset management teams
Monitor CAPEX and review invoices during project development
3+ years in land use/environmental permitting
Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
Budget management experience
Understanding of environmental/land use/utility regulatory landscape
Master's degree in a related field a plus
Preferred: CEQA/California entitlement experience; direct BESS, PV, or EV charging project experience
