Nurse Aides 1 to 10 Ratios 1 to 5 # beds 44 beds, 8 semiprivate rooms (16 beds) Notes Obtained by Abarna Certs BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred. Unit Cardiology-4A/4B--This is cardiac stepdown. 4A is more cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery, 4B is for smaller procedures, drips, CHF patients. Yes, must read and interpret Drips Cardizem (titrated), amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine renal dose, lasix, bumex, heparin, primicor, vaprosol Vents BiPap, CPAP only hour of sleep, vapotherm, no full vents, high flow oxygen Hospitalist or Intensivist in house in house 24/7 IV Team PICC team RT 24/7 Yes Pharmacy 24/7 Yes Shifts 645am, 645pm Floating to ICU but would only take stepdown patients unless have ICU experience and this would be noted as ICU ok to float on contract Floor specific orientation 3 shifts
