• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.

Requires: BLS, NIH, 2 years of recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. Able to lift up to 20 pounds; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Work in a fast‑paced environment treating patients that may be confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative.

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Total Med Travel Job .
