Dialysis Registered Nurse; RN - Area Float

Overview

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is recruiting a Dialysis Registered Nurse – Area Float to support our nonprofit mission of individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. We offer paid training, competitive pay, outstanding benefits, Sundays off, and a strong culture. This position will be part of the Albany area float pool.

Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 available.

Full‑time, four 10‑hour shifts starting at 5 am;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Pay ranges from $35–$39 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience.

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
• Perform hemodialysis treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Conduct ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
• Administer and chart all prescribed medications
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
• Document required patient education efforts
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance
• Lead a small patient care team
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
• Perform additional tasks as requested

• Accredited nursing degree required
• Dialysis experience required: minimum 6 months; one year preferred
