Job Description

Step into a travel healthcare contract supporting a fast‑moving, full‑service surgical environment in Albany, GA. This role is built around a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule and a one‑week facility‑specific orientation, helping you get grounded in the workflow from day one.

You’ll work with a Meditech EMR and a team structure where a charge nurse runs nurse management onsite, with evening specialty coverage for call rotation that may include ortho/neuro or cardio/thoracic cases depending on your scope. The pace is steady and real—typically 55–60 cases per day (about 1,000 per month). BLS and ACLS are required, and the environment includes ICU vent recoveries, so you’ll see the broader continuum of readiness that comes with a full service facility.

Call response is timely at approximately 30 minutes, and weekend requirements for RN travelers may occur about once per quarter. If you’re CST, you’re not scheduled for weekends. Scrubs are provided, and scrub color is taken care of by the facility—just bring your competence, consistency, and flexibility.

Albany, GA (strict 75‑mile radius from the traveler’s driver’s license address to the hospital).

Shift: 12‑hour rotating.

Duration: 17 weeks (36.0 hours per week).
