Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Albany, GA

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM cycle) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a dedicated telemetry unit
• Float as needed to acute care, cardiology, and EC for acute care patient holds
• Collaborate with CNA support staff to deliver safe, quality patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification (American Heart Association)

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an acute care setting

• Comprehensive one-week general orientation including EMR training, plus two days of floor-specific orientation to set you up for success
• Located in a community of approximately 80,000 with convenient access to major cities and coastal destinations in the Southeast
